FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

Typically our minimum order for screen printed t-shirts starts at 20x screen prints for printing within 1 – 3 colours. For anything 4 colours or above the MOQ starts at 50x prints. This may vary depending on garment material or if you have additional requirements such as re-labelling.

What is your turnaround time?

Typically we aim to fulfill your orders within 15 working days on confirmation of payment and proof approval. Delivery estimates can vary slightly depending on print complexity, how booked up we are, how large the order is or whether there’s any extra garment finishing added. We will provide a reasonable timescale during the quotation and order process.

Please inform us of any delivery deadlines prior to processing payment for your order if necessary.

Can i pay for a rush order?

Sure! We add a percentage on to your total order cost. Rush orders need to be pre-approved during the quotation process to be sure they can be allocated the necessary time slot in our work schedule.

6-8 working days + 20%
4-6 working days + 30%
2 workings days +50%

Do you require payment up front?

Yes. Your order will not be processed until all order details are confirmed, confirmation of payment and proof approval.

What happens when i place the order?

After payment confirmation we will provide you with an invoice and visual mockup with your artwork position on a t-shirt template for visual reference. The print proof will show print location, size, colour and any other additional information as necessary. Please be aware the visual mockup is for visual reference only and not 100% to scale.

How do i provide my artwork?

Artwork should ideally be provided as a vector file format. Vector file formats can be resized infinitely without loss of quality which aids us in producing the best quality print possible. Vector file formats include PDF, EPS, AI or CDR.

JPG files are perfectly fine however we recommend creating the artwork slightly larger than to scale of the actual print. For example if you’re creating artwork in raster based software such as photoshop or a tablet app like procreate we recommend saving your artwork as a JPG or BMP. The artboard should be sized a little bigger than the actual print size and at a resolution of atleast 300dpi but 600dpi is better.

If your art files are too large to transfer via email or our quote form please use a website such as wetransfer.

Do you provide print samples?

Due to the setup times involved with screen printing, 1 off sample t-shirts simply aren’t viable. However we will provide a proof mockup sheet with print specifics such as size, position and colours used. If you would like to check out our print quality we do have sample t-shirts available and can be ordered here.

Is White on Dark/Black garments priced as 2 colours?

Typically not, white on black/dark colour garments is priced as 1 colour. The same applies to most grey colours. Other colours that are lighter than the garment however may require a white underbase print and will be charged as a 2 colour print rather than 1. As always, best to send your artwork over for a quote and we will advise if the print will require an underbase.

Returns?

Flippin Sweet will go to any lengths to ensure that your order is printed correctly. However due to the manual nature of screen printing and the natural tendency for unforeseen problems to occur, mistakes can happen. As all goods are bespoke items Flippin Sweet do not offer refunds except in cases where a drastic error has been made such as incorrect art, art placement or wrong garment colour. If you feel your order is defective then Flippin Sweet will do everything possible to rectify the issue in a timely fashion.
